DriveDeduct
For delivery and rideshare drivers

Every delivery mile, logged for tax time.

Tap Start Trip and drive. DriveDeduct records your business miles in the background, keeps your expenses and receipts, and builds the mileage log the IRS asks for.

Coming soon to Google Play. iPhone to follow.

One tap at the start. One tap at the end.

Built for drivers who are busy delivering, not filling in logbooks.

Start a Trip

Tap once when your shift begins. Snap the dashboard if you like: DriveDeduct reads your odometer.

Drive and deliver

Your phone stays in the mount. Each stop at a pickup or drop-off becomes its own drive; red lights and traffic don't count.

Stop and sign

Tap Stop. Your drives are saved with times, addresses and miles, ready to confirm with one tap.

Works alongside DoorDash, Uber Eats, Instacart, Amazon Flex, Grubhub, Spark, Shipt and other apps.

Everything for your mileage deduction

Records you can stand behind, and estimates that help you plan.

Automatic mileage log

GPS mileage with start and end addresses, dates and times: the details the IRS asks drivers to keep.

Receipts, odometer and VIN by photo

Snap it and AI fills in the amount, merchant, receipt number, odometer reading or vehicle details. You check, then save.

Tax center

Compare the standard mileage rate with actual expenses, see an estimate of quarterly tax, and get reminders before IRS due dates.

Tamper-evident records

Each record gets a fingerprint when it's saved. Corrections are added, originals are never overwritten. Sign once, confirm each Trip with a tap.

Export for your tax preparer

Email your mileage log and expenses as spreadsheet files, with every record's fingerprint included.

Vehicles and teams

Add vehicles by VIN photo, group them by team or business, and see each one's business miles.

Tuned to how you deliver

Food, groceries, packages, pharmacy, rideshare or large items: stop detection adapts to your kind of work.

Your language

English, Español, Français, العربية, हिन्दी and Português, with light and dark mode.

Private by design

Encrypted on your phone. Detailed routes and photos stay there. Cloud backup is optional, and you can delete your account in the app.

Questions

Does DriveDeduct give tax advice or file my taxes?

No. DriveDeduct keeps your records and shows estimates to help you plan. It doesn't prepare or file returns. Check with a tax professional or the IRS before you file.

What does the IRS ask drivers to keep?

A record made at or near the time of each business drive: the date, the miles, where you went and the business purpose, plus your total miles for the year. See IRS Publication 463. DriveDeduct records these as you drive.

Will it drain my battery?

Location is only used while a Trip is running, and you'll see a notification the whole time. When you tap Stop, recording stops.

What happens to my data?

Your records are encrypted on your phone. If you create an account, they're backed up so they follow you to a new phone. Detailed routes and photos stay on your phone. We never sell your data. Read the Privacy Policy.

Is there an iPhone version?

Android comes first, on Google Play. The iPhone version will follow.
